[ He may be a huge nerd but he's actually a fan of sportsball -- or sports in general. There are few things more interesting than watching someone put all their work into their passion, and as a passionate person as well he can relate. He actually watches this very intently.

I want to see this in person. I've always admired figure-skating, because it's one of the few sports that put focus on both the elegance of the human form, and an emotional performance. You can't say that and not show me now.

You're going running in that? Are your shoes comfortable?

[ jj he has like no money ...... he's not spending what little money he has on running shoes. ]

Does any of that matter as long as I can run?

You're going to hurt your feet. [ He hadn't anticipated this. Can he, in good conscience, let Rohan run in shoes not meant for running? ] You're already going to have a hard time keeping up with me, but if your shoes aren't comfortable...

[ Well, he tends to like things to be done properly and appropriately, and it is proper to wear running shoes when you're about to run. ]

Okay. [ Surprise, he's giving in!! He can't blame Rohan for wanting to go skating. It is, after all, one of the best past times known to man. ] We'll walk to the rink.
