Unlike BigFoot, there have been no recorded sightings of Santa Claus. In fact, the origin of the legend can be traced back to a person in history.

think about it this way: zombies are real, vampires are real, and magic is real...
then why can't santa be real?

I wouldn't discount it. If there's any evidence of his existence, I'd like to be informed immediately.

If he were real, however, he'd make much less sense than zombies and vampires. What would he gain out of giving out free toys to millions of children?

I understand that there are generous people around, but ... on such a large scale? Do you know how many children there are in the world? It would take so much manpower and resources.

I'm interested in myths of all sorts. Of course I would want to investigate any supposed evidence of Santa Claus.

If there were reason to believe the legend is true, I mean ... [ Of course he wouldn't waste time staking out Santa Claus if there haven't been any sightings or photographic evidence!!! But he'd totally go out of his way to physically investigate cryptids and aliens. ]

Hmm. That would be a good idea. I usually prefer to experience things first hand, but reading is another good way to find inspiration.

While it's always been just folklore, I've heard about some sightings in Canada, back in my world.
