SOURCE ◣ First Impressions ✎ GENERAL INFO: Rohan Kishibe from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. 20 years old. Born in 1979. An arrogant and self-centered manga artist with the power to turn people into books. While he's not the nicest guy, he does do good on occasion. ✎ VISUAL: Skinny and lanky. Height unknown, probably 175cm. Rohan has a really sharp face, to the point where he looks slightly emaciated. He also has black/dark-green hair that's shaved at the bottom in an undercut and swept to the side at the top. Green eyes. Standard Rohan. According to Okuyasu, he looks like the Mona Lisa?? Ah ... ✎ FASHION: Rohan is always seen in his headband (though he changes up the colours) and pen-nip earrings. Otherwise, his outfit changes constantly in both colour and style, but what's constant is how unique it all is (being a JJBA character). He seems to favour high fashion and wears branded goods. He's also very fond of crop tops. Most JJBA characters don't change outfits very often, but Rohan never wears the same outfit twice. That should speak for how important fashion seems to be to him. Here are some examples of outfits he has worn: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. There are too many. ✎ DEMEANOUR: Pretentious. Uninviting. Intimidating to some. While Rohan doesn't outwardly condescend over people, it is quite easy to tell from his demeanor that he's arrogant and self-centered. He also has a sort of school-teacher vibe to him, especially when he berates people for their lack of respect or manners. When he's angered by something, he can become extremely intense, glaring daggers into his object of enmity until they know how furious he is. On the flip side, he can act in a somewhat-normal fashion when around the people that he does like, though he tends to get clingy and passive-aggressive if they refuse to spend time with him. His general way of moving and carrying himself is quite flamboyant, much like his style of dress, and it lends to occasional fabulous posing. Overall, Rohan is quite an eccentric and overbearing guy. Not very likeable, I would say. ✎ SOUND: Slurp slurp. ✎ SCENT: Musky mangaka -- No, probably like paper and fruity bath soap. ✎ MENTAL INFORMATION: His weird personality aside, there isn't really anything of note here. ✎ MAGICAL INFORMATION: He has a Stand. More on that later on. ◣ OOC ✎ PLAYER: CAPS (disemboweled) @ capsu ✎ TAGGING PREFERENCES: Backtagging is fine. Ecats-style RP is fine. I tend to prefer bracket-style RP over prose. My tagging speed is sporadic because of work and my weird timezone (GMT+8). ✎ FOURTHWALLING: Yes. It sure would be a trip for Rohan to learn that he's a manga artist being drawn by a manga artist. He already likes to act like he's in a manga, so it wouldn't really shake him up that much. ✎ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Why would you want to -- While I'd love this, Rohan would fight it. He's a big unfriendly tsundere. Rohan won't really be dishing out any physical affection unless he finds someone he happens to be really really fond of. ✎ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: I'm fine with it. Rohan will try to protect himself with his powers, but get past those and he's really just a guy who writes manga for a living. Feel free to K.O. him. ✎ RELATIONSHIPS: Again, why would you want to ... I am down for shipping. It would just be really hard. Rohan isn't completely asexual, but his sexuality surfaces itself in really weird and inappropriate ways (basically he's a creep). He's also the biggest tsundere on Earth, on top of being pushy, needy, mean-spirited and arrogant. This is just cursed. ✎ SMUT OPT-INs: I honestly don't expect this to come up at all but I'm fine with it. It's just going to be suffering for everyone involved. Fine with M/F and M/M. Anybody 16+ is alright with me, but I would prefer to smut with characters who don't look that young. Kinklist that no one wanted. ◣ Permissions ✎ HEAVEN'S DOOR: Rohan's ability is incredibly invasive toward other characters, and can do the basic equivalent of 'infomodding' and 'mind-control'. Rather than asking people to opt-in for that though, I'll be asking players personally when there's a chance he'll use his ability. Here's the gist of what Heaven's Door can do: It transforms its victim into a 'book', allowing Rohan to open them up and go through their pages. While Heaven's Door is activated, the victim becomes unable to fight back, and some even lose consciousness. There are three main functions of Heaven's Door: 1) Reading. Rohan can obtain information about a character by reading through their pages, much like reading through an encyclopedia. He'll be able to learn everything there is to know about that character, from that character's own perspective. This means he cannot know what the character themselves do not know. 2) Writing. Rohan can write a command into a character, putting them under a basic mind control spell. For example, if he were to write 'I will do the chicken dance for the next 1 minute' into a character's manuscript, the character will be forced to perform that action, regardless of how much they resist. 3) Tearing. Rohan can tear out pages from a character's manuscript, stealing their memories from them. Doing so will not physically harm the character, but they will discover a sudden weight lost of about 20kg. He doesn't really do this anymore. So, yeah, as you can see, Heaven's Door is a pretty infomoddy ability and not something I'd like to toss at people unannounced. I will be asking permission before he uses his Stand. I've also imposed some nerfs on his ability to keep gameplay fair. 1) If I can't get permission to use it, Heaven's Door will glitch. Either it does not respond at all, or Rohan opens the person up only to find gibberish/trash poetry written in their manuscripts. He's unable to write in his commands because they disappear. 2) Heaven's Door can only last up to 1 minute at a time, and can only be used on the same person twice in an hour.
